So, what is close-up magic?
Close-up magic is an all-involving, intimate piece of theatre, designed to be fun, mystifying and memorable, but above all, entertaining. It is magic performed to small groups of people by a magician who carries all he requires on his person, providing an unusual mobile entertainment service. Because the performer is working to small groups, he is able to totally involve the onlookers in a way that virtually no other form of entertainment can. Many people marvel at seeing magic happen ‘right before their eyes’ and it is a source of enormous fascination and amusement. Many clients have told me that there guests are still talking about the magic weeks after the event!
How can it help at your wedding?
Close-up magic is a great ice-breaker. If guests don’t know each other, or don’t know each other well, my magic is uniquely tailored to bring people together to create an enjoyable and relaxed atmosphere.

It requires no special staging, lighting or venue. It is perfect as a creator of atmosphere and an ideal adjunct to music, dancing or eating.

Cabaret magic is a fun, entertaining floor show that can be between 20 minutes and one hour. Ideal for audiences numbering from 20 to 200 plus. The cabaret style environment makes it ideal for involving the audience and a few will even get to take part! I guarantee a good time for all!

Whether a large theatre holding a thousand-plus or smaller stage, the magic act can be adapted to suit any situation. Audience participation is a key part and makes for memorable theatre. Any type of stage show such as variety shows and old time music hall are an ideal vehicle for this entertaining and memorable act.

The theme of magic lends itself to all manner of potential promotional avenues, right from a simple play on words, such as, "Company X is magic!", to more complex integrated programmes.
